An excellent stay, staff have gone above and beyond to get to grips with difficult ventilation apparatus and their efforts are much appreciated. This has meant we're able to take a break from the continuous effort of lockdown care which has affected all who use this vital service. We returned to a happy and contented daughter who came home calm, relaxed with pressure areas improved. Our thanks as always to all concerned.

My son is always treated with dignity, respect and encouragement when he is at 1 willow close. He is always happy to go, is relaxed when he is there and is calm when we pick him up. For the last 14 months he has either been at home or at 1 willow as we are keeping covid safe and don’t feel he is completely safe in the wider world. He hasn’t attended day centre as we are not confident that they can keep him completely safe from covid. However we trust that Rachael and her staff at 1 willow will be doing everything possible to keep him safe and believe he is looked after and protected just as well there as he is at home.

My son has been in lockdown for 6 months. Not been to day centre, respite or anywhere near any people he doesn’t live with. Until his short stay at the beginning of October. I would like to wrap him up nice and safe and keep him with me at all times until a time that covid has magically vanished. But he needs more than that. He has missed willows a great deal and was so happy when we got there. Happy to see familiar faces, people he trusts and has a bond with. Most importantly I have complete trust in the staff and management to keep him safe. I would not have sent him if there was any doubt that he would not be safe and receiving the best care possible. In this strange new world they had made all the changes needed to be able to reopen in a covid safe way. His stay was great as always. He was happily wandering when we left him and still a happy and relaxed young man when he was collected again. Massive thank you to the management and staff for working so hard to get back to doing what they do so well. To caring for our loved ones, keeping them safe, happy and always treating them with respect. Looking forward to next months visit already!
